Our Story
Founded in 2020, Lazal Catering has quickly earned a reputation as a leading name in international cuisine, celebrated for its exceptional, high-quality dishes inspired by global flavours.
What began as a humble passion project has grown into a thriving business, serving a diverse range of clients—from intimate gatherings to large-scale events. The journey of Lazal is rooted in the adventurous spirit of founders Harald and Katrin Müller, who, driven by their love for food and cultures, spent two years travelling the world in 2011. During this time, they uncovered some of the most unique and extravagant dishes, sparking a deep desire to share these flavours with others. Upon returning, they made a bold decision to leave their careers behind and began cooking for friends. They started cooking themselves for small gatherings and soon all grew into something much bigger where they recruited the best cooks and so in 2020, they officially founded Lazal Catering.
Today, our passionate team continues to build on that foundation, blending the finest ingredients with authentic global flavours to create unforgettable culinary experiences.

Organic Farm and Vineyard
At Lazal Catering, we’re deeply committed to sustainability and the use of fresh, high-quality ingredients. We proudly cultivate our own organic farm and vineyard in the region of Tessin.
On our farm, we grow a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, including tomatoes, eggplant, bell peppers, lettuce, seasonal fruits, and berries. We also produce a diverse range of spices from around the world, adding unique flavours to our dishes. Additionally, we grow sessional specialties, ensuring that every dish we create highlights the best of what nature has to offer.
When our own harvest isn’t enough to meet the demands of large events, we turn to our trusted local ecological farms.
Our vineyard is another key aspect of our commitment to quality. Lazal produces its own wine, carefully crafted to reflect the unique terroir of Tessin. The vines are nurtured with the same dedication and care as our vegetables, resulting in wines that complement our meals perfectly. Whether it’s a crisp white or a rich red, our wines are an essential part of the unforgettable culinary experiences we offer.
Known for its rich, full-bodied character, LazaL produces the region’s iconic Merlot as well as the elegant Cabernet Franc and the delicate Pinot Noir. Each bringing its own unique flavour to our collection.
For white wines, we craft fresh and crisp Chardonnay, along with the vibrant Sauvignon Blanc.
